Description
Double offset butterfly valves are also known as high performance butterfly valves. A high performance butterfly valve is suitable for demanding applications involving aggressive media that is not suitable for a valve with rubber liner. TEKO Valves offer the double offset valve with PTFE and PTFE/AISI316 liner and body material in cast steel and stainless steel. A fire safe version designed according to API607 is also available.

Features
Packing: PTFE packing prevent external leakage out valve neck to full AMSE hydrostatic shell test pressure (150% of C.W.P.).
Disc: 360°uninterrupted spherical edge for sealing. Profile is designed for maximum flow and equal percentage control
Bearing: 316+PTFE wounded bearing on both above and below the disc to align shaft , with high capacity, low wear, and low Friction coefficient.
Soft Seated: Unique designed soft seat encapsulated elastomeric o-ring core for resiliency. PTFE, RPTFE, and UHMWPE material are offered upon fluid.
Retainer Ring: Standard surface finish of 125 to 200 AARH and compatible with both standard gaskets and spiral wound gasket design
About the seat design
Soft seated: Bi-directional seat with encapsulated elastomeric o-ring for resiliency. Common sea materials include PTFE, RPTFE and UHMWPE.
Metal Seated: TEKO metal seat with metal back-up ring to accomplished by the line contact between a spherical surface and conical surface.
Fire safe seat: Double seat design, bi-directional soft sea design for zero-leakage in normal operation and a metal-to-metal seal after fire, meeting or exceeding industry ”fire-safe” requirements.
